- But the Chinese never used 太平天國 for this particular 國; the founder of 太平天囯 believed that "國" was a bad character, as the "或" inside represented the Emperor, and wished to change that. And I am not upset at this article at all; I am just upset at User:Idh0854, as I believe that he is wikistalking me because of something I did earlier that he didn't like; he must be a wizard or something, going onto every single article that I have edited like that. - I think you still don't understand. What's the difference between 囯 and 国? Have a close look. One of them is a 玉 (王+a dot) inside a 囗， the other is a 王 (with no dot) inside a 囗. 囯 ≠ 国. China today does not use 囯; China uses 国. However, the Taipings did not use 国, 圀, 囶, 囻 or 國, they used 囯. They are 이주 한자/변종 한자 (異体字 in JP, 异体字 in CN). 国, 圀, 囶, 囻, 國 and 囯 are the same character (country/국), written differently; similarly, 万, 萬, 卐 and 卍 are the same character (10,000/만) written differently; 和, 咊, and 龢 are the same character (peace/together/Japan) written differently. -- 李博杰 | —Talk contribs 2010년 9월 7일 (화) 19:08 (KST)

According to w:zh:太平天国, the first sentence reads like this:
太平天國（其中「天」字的两横上长下短；「囯」字内為「王」字，1851年－1864年）是清朝后期，由洪秀全...
Inside the brackets, it says that the Taipings used the variant 囯, as well as a different "天" with the bottom 一 longer than the top 一. This is a well known fact within China; the Taipings used strange and abnormal characters to write their name.
