세타르케스아과(Setarchinae)는 페르카목 양볼락과에 속하는 조기어류 아과의 하나이다.^[1]^[2]^[3] 약 130여 종으로 이루어져 있다. 심해에 사는 작은 바다 물고기로 몸길이는 최대 25cm 정도이다. 전세계의 열대와 아열대 수역에서 발견된다. 별도의 세타르케스과(Setarchidae)로 분류하기도 한다.^[4]
