사회언어학

사회언어학(社會言語學)은 사회 속에서 언어가 어떤 양상을 띠는가에 초점을 맞춘 언어학의 한 분야이다.

사회언어학의 정체성

랄프 파솔드(Ralph Fasold)는 사회언어학(The Sociolinguistics of Language)과 언어사회학(The Sociolinguistics of Society)이라는 두권의 저서를 남겼는데 이 두 책의 목차를 살펴보는 것은 사회언어학이 어떤 학문인가를 살펴보는데 도움을 준다.
