민벌레는 민벌레속(Zorotypus)에 속하는 곤충의 총칭이다. 민벌레속은 민벌레목 (Zoraptera), 민벌레과 (Zorotypidae)의 단일 속이다. 현존하는 34종을 포함하고 있으며, 9종은 멸종했다.[1] 한국에서는 발견되지 않았다.

34종은 전세계, 주로 열대와 아열대 지역에서 발견된다. 북회귀선 북쪽 지역에서 발견되는 4종 중에서 2종은 미국, 2종은 티벳에서 발견된다.
