노블티송

1910년대 미국에서 시작된 노블티 송(novelty song)은 우스꽝스럽거나 의미없는 가사로 이루어진 대중음악으로 주로 재미있게 표현된다. 음악에 재미있는 요소가 있다고 해서 모두 노블티 송은 아니다. 이 용어는 Tin Pan Alley가 대중음악의 대분류를 작성하는 중 처음으로 사용되었다.[1] 노블티 송은 1920~1930년대에 큰 인기를 끌었다.[2][3]
